I use this to supplement my textbook before exams. It is a little weak on problems, but good for summarizing the key points of the chapters. I actually use the solutions guide for this quite a bit more as I go through the umpteen calculations needed for this course. This guide is not essential, but it helps. Word of warning- there are no solutions to the problems in this book. The author wants you to figure out the answers yourself.
Great addition to the book. It really helps when you are not able to read 45 pages prior to class! Review of the chapter, examples of problems worked out for you, and some extra problems with answers at the end of the book. Good buy. Just make sure to buy used.
